Asphalt Patching Mill & Fill Project Description

The project involved a mill & fill asphalt patch on a metro street spanning twelve feet wide by twenty-three foot. The utility contractor needed a metro street patch after installing a water tap for a new multi unit being built by the general contractor.

The utility contractor already had the eleven inches of binder filled to the surface upon starting the asphalt patch, so needed the metro street patch needed to be milled two inches and filled with asphalt topping to the existing surface.

The general contractor needed the underground utility contractor to complete the metro street patch in one day so he can proceed to the next step of his multi-unit home build, which meant that the team had to work quickly and efficiently.
